Garden of the Gods and One Little Goddess

Today we did a little visiting and sightseeing,

First, we drove down to Colorado Springs. The mountains are off to the west for the whole drive.

Pike’s Peak

When we got to Colorado Springs we drove through the Garden of the Gods. It was spectacular seeing all of the red sandstone rock formations.

AAfter the sightseeing we stopped and visited with Steve and Morgan Rudolph and  their little goddess, (my title, not theirs)
Nora.. We went to lunch with them at PizzAmore. Really good pizza and great company.

Miss Nora kept us all entertained. She just had a birthday three weeks ago and is now 2, or this many✌️!

With that little cutie I’ll leave you until tomorrow.

Furry Grands

I certainly didn’t do much today. I was so tired from the drive and I was feeling a little sorry for myself because there are fewer thu I can do for myself than a year and a half ago when I visited.  Like getting up from the chair.  I have a lift chair at home but here I’m dependent on someone to help me.  It’s awful to lose your independence, even a little.  I am so very grateful to everyone who helps me.

Today was spent relaxing with Sean and Amy and the grand doggies.  Allow me to introduce you to Oscar and Kirby. Oscar is a 6 year old Boxer and Kirby is a 5 year old Boston Terrier.

I

They are both energetic dogs but are well behaved.  They are very well loved.

These guys love dogs so much that they are making a wall of dogs. They got a painting kit of a balloon dog and liked it so much they  bought more. So far they have about 30 pictures and eventually hope to cover the whole wall.

Cute and clever!
